I’m over my chocolate fix - no, I didn’t get any. Can you believe our easter candy - the good stuff is gone… - instead I am sick…
Yesterday I had to work in another county to get them ready for their monthly meeting. When I woke up in the morning I knew I didn’t feel well, but - I really needed to get this stuff done. I threw up three times before I gave up and came home. Just so you know - this county pays me $4 more an hour than I make in my own county (I get paid drive time, and paid mileage,)-and they treat me much better - I did not want to leave them without all their stuff ready for their board meeting. The director was really nice and told me to come back on Thursday (he would have their Treasurer sign reports etc then) - and finish up, that he could tell I wasn’t feeling well. The other gals in the office were giving me a hard time saying I was having morning sickness…. I better not be.
When I got home I went to check emails and woke up at the computer an hour later - finally just went to bed, went and picked up kids and made supper about 5. Mr Incredible came home at 6:00 - had supper and I went to bed by 7:00, and didn’t wake up until 6:30 this morning. and I still feel like crap - but I am going to go to work. I have payroll and some reports that are due, and I just have to make it until noon - I should be able to do that.

I hope it’s just the flu - the 24 hour kind. I’ve had the 9 month flu, it was no fun!

Oh! I hope you feel better! Being sick sucks! I got Godiva Chocolates since today was administrative professionals day, they are trying to sabatoge my weight loss!

If this is the 9 month flu - there’s a doctor that has some ’splainin’ to do…
I still felt pretty crappy today - but did manage to stay at work until noon, and when I got home - managed to be somewhat helpful in the garage - meaning - we made a bigger mess than improvement. But by the weekend it should look pretty good.
