What’s that light mean?

Do you see that red light? It came on the other day - and then we had to wait a day to get a new filter for it. Now, all has returned to normal.

So the question of the day… Would you continue to drink water from it and pretend that you didn’t see it all day - or drink the city water from the kitchen sink?

Our city water - while treated etc, tastes like well, city water…. yuck and I know it’s still city water - but it tastes so much better after it comes from the fridge.

I’m afraid I’d have to continue drinking water from it and pretend I didn’t see it.

    Yeah, I’d ignore it, too.

I would ignore it - for a day or two (or three - OK four at the most) - after that IF I hadn’t gotten my lazy bootay to the store to buy a new one - I would ignore it a couple more days…hehe!

That’s all we drink in this house, city water. I’m sure it won’t be long before we are all glowing. LOL

I believe I would still drink from it. I hate city water. Besides, the red light is just a warning! :-)

PS- Thanks for the Michael advice, in fact I think I might wash my car tonight! Ha ha

I’d keep drinkin’ it… but that’s me. I take lights like that as a “heads up” sort of a thing rather than a “don’t touch.”

The filters aren’t cheap, and they want you to buy many of them. My light has been on for a couple of months and I’ve never changed the filter. i have a spare one, but hey… water is still coming out, so it MUST still be working. Until water stops coming out because the filter is clogged with city-water-stuff, I’m gonna keep using it.

    Call me a rebel.

I’d keep drinking it. But we have a whole house filter, a filter on the fridge and a filtered tap on our sink as well.

    Pro-D - That’s how I handle alot of things lately - if I don’t see it - I don’t have to fix it!

    Blogarita - so we do…

Cheeky - Next time - I’ll follow your advice!

Momyblgr - Growing up on a farm -I drank well water - I probably glow in the dark too!

    Jodes - we do.

Ashley - Glad you thought it was helpful…hope your car sparkles.

Useless Man - from a pipe in the basement (I KNOW - it’s city water - but I hate the taste of it)

Bon - I’ll have to keep that in mind.

Dave - you ARE a rebel…but you are right - that little thing was $35… sheesh - but it lasted a year.

Jody - well at least I’m no the only person to filter my already filtered city water.

Laura - sure you only drink bottled water… ha ha ha!

Bossy- so one day ain’t gonna be killing the kids…. good to know.
