Sometimes a girl just needs her Daddy….
And Daddy is home.

Tink has been complaining of leg pain, and her back hurts…but there is nothing visibly wrong with her, no bruise, no injury…nothing. Twice this week she stopped playing to sit on the carpet and cry that her legs hurt “so bad”. The daycare sent a note home so that I was aware of it…I think it’s just growing pains. We’ve been giving her some motrin at night, but it doesn’t seem to help. Hoping that it starts kicking in and soon! Tonight before her Daddy was home - she just laid on the couch and wanted me to rub her back and legs cause they hurt. As a parent you hate to see them in pain, and there is nothing that I can do, I just have to wait.
Pan went through this - and at one point Mr. Incredible took him to the doctor - because his foot was hurting soooo bad in the same spot for a month. They took x-rays - and it’s just growing pains - that’s what I’m sticking with for Tink… unless this goes on for a month - then I’ll take her - because I worry like that.

look up the benifits of whey powder on the net. It works wonderful on growing pains.

Growing pains scare me (and I am not sharing this to scare you….)
When my neice was in kindergarten - she complained all the time about being in pain like that (she had lots of other symptoms too - so don’t get worried) - long story short - she had leukemia….she went through treatment and all is well (she just graduated highschool) - it just scares me a little when my kids complain - since we had something like that so close in the family.

Birdie started getting them bad around 3 1/2yrs… I’m sure that’s what it is. Still stinks when they are in pain like that.

I remember my growing pains. There was nothing that seemed to work. Hope Tink feels better soon. I do love the photo of her and Dad…

my blondie bee would complain of leg pain from the time she was about 2…it was just growing pains.
she would jsut not move and cry..but there was nothing wrong.
hope she gets over it soon..that cant be fun. I never remeber going thru that, and so far she is the only one who has e=went thru it, thank fully..
