This is going up early, I have so much that has to be done before I leave - that I am not going to have time - sorry!
In less than 12 hours, Mr. Incredible and I will be in an airport, waiting to board our plane to VEGAS. VIVA LAS VEGAS….
I’m excited, scared, nervous, and terrified - and not necessarily in that order.
The kids? They can’t wait for Papa and Grandma to be here - I don’t think they realize that WE won’t be here while they are here. Pan knows it - but Tink? I don’t think she gets it…but she will… and I’m dreading that bit of reality. I haven’t left my kids since bringing them home from the hospital. Who wants to place the bet, that I’ll be the one crying, and they will be the one having a great time?
I’m really looking forward to alone time with Mr. Incredible - will be great to have him all to myself. (now THAT is selfish isn’t it!)
And while packing for this “adventure” I am realizing, I am not a happy-go-lucky, play-it-by-ear type person. I need to know - DETAILS…and I think my hubby is realizing this as well, because I asked him for the confirmation details (they are on his email) two days ago - nothing, asked him again one day ago - nothing, asked him this morning, nothing, and I finally said at about 8:30 last night - what is wrong with the printer that you can’t print this information out for me?
I think secretly, he loves messing with my mind. I needed to see the numbers, to know that yes, we really do have flight reservations, a place to stay, (and yes I was there when he booked the flight) etc. I know - for those of you that travel on a regular basis - this is no big deal. But for me - this is a BIG …don’t give me shite about this. AND I also need to know how many suitcases we could bring, the size of the carry-on etc. Apparently, I’m the type to worry about this stuff. (but remember Murphy* is our frickin’ uncle - and I just don’t want him along on the trip!)
AND - while I’m on vacation - I’m taking a blogging vacation - don’t have any fun without me!

(Now I’m off to figure out how to play poker - or black jack, or craps, or something… maybe I’ll just stick to the slots!)
*Think - Murphy - of Murphy’s law - if something can go wrong - it will. That would be us. Outdoor project - started the 1st weekend of September - it still is not completed.

I know you will have a GREAT time. Trust me on the “projects” It was suppose to take 3 months to fix up 3 bathrooms. 18 months later and the 3rd one STILL isn’t finished!!! UGH…but at least it is now usable. Win big!
