The sites…

Disclaimer: Please keep in mind, I am a small town gal. I was born in a small town (pop under 3,000) and have lived in a small town (pop around7,000) my whole life.

We got in to our room by 1:30 (our time) - and by the time we found something to eat, and it was close to 3:30 by the time we went to bed. We stayed at the Aladdin - Where we were upgraded to a king suite - but due to the fact that it was a smoking room - we asked to be moved. I didn’t know that one could smoke (and just about everyone does) anywhere and everywhere in Vegas. The Aladdin is under renovations to be changed to Planet Hollywood - so things were hard to get to - but things moved quickly - in the time we were there - the buffett opened back up (and it was GOOD…very very good!)

WOW! There was so much to see, I had a list of what I wanted to see - and Mr. Incredible had the plan of - we will get up (when we get up), and either go to the left or to the right. And that is what we did. Tuesday - we went to New York New York, MGM Grand, Luxor, and Excaliber. Loved New York New York - if we go back again - that is where I would want to stay. Gambled a little here, won some, lost more. But it was fun. We rode the roller coaster at NYNY - loved it! Mr. Incredible didn’t like it as much - he said he’s too old for that…. nah, it was fun!

Tuesday night we met up with some bloggers - Mr. & Mrs. Fab, and Sodapop. The Fabs were just as funny in person as on the blog, and Sodapop was just as fantastic and it was as if we had known each other for a long time. Had a great time - and the time just flew by. We ate at a resturant called Quarks - which was a little Quarky - it was part of the Star Trek Experience at the Hilton, Since we are not Star trek fans we had a great time laughing at the people who were like- “Mom, Look it’s the Enterprise…”

On our way back to the hotel we caught the Fountains at the Bellagio.

Wednesday - Went right - and walked through Paris (effiel tower), Bellagio, Cesars (The shops), the Venitian (the canals), Bally’s. We went to the Stratosphere, great view from the observation deck - although I chickened out and didn’t want to ride the roller coasters on the top. I don’t know - it just didn’t seem that safe. (Maybe I’m getting old)

Thursday-We went off the beaten path and went to the Pinball Hall of Fame. Pretty neat - played a few games - and Mr. Incredible has found the new game he wants - he’s not getting it - but he knows he wants it. Went to the Freemont Street Experience - That was cool. They covered about 5 blocks of the “old strip” and have an awesome light show - it’s one of those things you have to see to appreciate.

Friday - clicked our shoes, and we were home… or something like that.

Still tired - Mr. Incredible got sick on Saturday night, and he and Pan are both still sick on Sunday. I’m not feeling the best, and I’m sure if I felt up to it - this would be a much better post - but I’m feeling kinda under the weather too.

Sounds like you had a great time!

Sorry you all are sick, though. What a lousy way to end a vacation. :(
