four

On the fourth day of Christmas my true love gave to me….four calling birds…

yeah, I don’t get the song either - when do the 12 days start - is it the 12 days before the 25th? The 12 days after? and why would I want calling birds? I’m not really a bird person…but I’d take the 5 golden rings…or something like that.

Last night I picked Pan up from his after-school program - they were making up a missed day - they made soy based candles - smells sooo good - his smelled like peppermints…. He was so proud. He can’t tell me what the other stuff is that they made because they are wrapped up under the tree. So we will find out in 4 long days.

In other news we sorta heard the results of Mr. Incredible’s test - waiting for the PCP to make us an appointment with a surgeon. I can’t wait for him to be feeling better - the pain is coming back and I’m afraid that he will get the pancreatitis again…. and I don’t want him to have permanent damage to his pancreas. Stupid Gall bladder, yes, you can live without one. The trick will be getting it taken out before the end of the year. Taking bets… will they do it in 2006 or 2007?

If you’re getting our weather, 2007. Hospital called me today - no need to come in tomorrow to volunteer, all surgeries that could be moved have been. I’m not going to work tomorrow - all interstates, highways, CLOSED. He’ll be OK…bland-ish foods - you know the drill. Hang in there….

Long days? Tell me about it! Every night I try to talk Dave into opening presents NOW, since we are both finished with shopping and it isn’t like we have to wait for Santa or anything… but he keeps saying no!

    I’m too impatient, I guess.

I am hoping for 2006 for you, but the time is short and the end is near! Maybe he can ask Santa for it for Christmas..

    Oh dear Bob.

Of all the people to answer this, none of the 7 before me did?

The 12 days of Christmas starts Christmas night and goes until Jan. 5th which is the Eve of The Epiphany. It’s like all religious and stuff which is why the fact that I can and did answer it is so ironic.

As for the gifts? Probably the same twits that brought the baby Jesus gold, frankincense and myrrh thought this up….really, I mean who brings that and not an outfit or a toy to a newborn?

    Men.

OH Man.. gallbladder sucks. I hope it gets out in 2006 for his sake.
I was having gallbladder attacks just about every day from Feb 2005 to June 2005, I wanted that thing out like right then and there but I was PG with Little man and they needed to wait, I thought i would have it done shortly after he was born in May 2005 but i ended up with an emergencie C-sect. and I had to recover from that I lost alot of blood, and they didn’t think i was up to another surgery.. So they planned the gallbladder surgery for the end of July. Only.. a stupid gallstone got caught in my common vile duct and I ended up in the hospital for a week when Little Man was 5 weeks old. 1st it was a saturday when they admitted me, then sunday they didn’t have the stuff they needed to do the testing, on monday i spent the whole day having test done to see if the stone was still caught, tuesday I had the surgery to remove the stone(but i had to be transfered to a different hospital for that, then brought back to the hospital i was at) Wed I still didn’t have the blood count they wanted to remove the gallbladder so i had to have a blood transfusion, they pumped two bags of blood into me, then I had my gallbladdered removed and since i was under I went ahead and had my tubes done then too(you know us moms and multitasking LOL) Only i was so weak and sick from all the stuff i had been though the last month that insteed of being able to go home they kept me till Friday night till i was some what well again.
~sigh~ the gallbladder stuff suck.. I HOPE they get him in ASAP
