Kelly asked how I switched to “Fantastagirl.com” and if I was still with blogger.

Well, because I’m married to Mr. Incredible, the short answer is – I’m still with blogger, but I have my own domain name.

Mr. I registered Fantastagirl.com and bought the domain, (from – Namecheap.com) and then I went into the settings of blogger and have it forward my www.fantastagirl.blogspot.com addy to fantastagirl.com .

I’m sure the process is slightly more involved than that, but that is all I had to do. Ignorance really is bliss and being married to someone who really likes doing this stuff – is FANTASTIC!

Guess what? Know that home show we went to last weekend? We won! We Won! What did we win? Well, I can’t remember, I’m getting old. One of the insurance agents had a booth, and like the dumbasses idiots, friendly people we sometimes can be, we visited with the guy.

He is going to give us a quote on our home, auto, life etc (because you know HE can save us a ton of money…). Anyhow – he had a basket of goodies – actually I think it was a rubber maid tote full of stuff (what I don’t know) – and we won it. So, I need to call, set up a time to pick it up, and visit with him re: the quote.

We are happy with our current insurance company -and didn’t plan on switching…but the only way to get the free stuff is to visit with him wasting my time and his re: how wonderful his company is compared to ours, but Mr. Incredible says this particular company has a history of showing up at your house and saying – you have to fix this, this, and this or we are dropping you – and then after you spend the money and fix it – dropping you anyway. Which I guess makes it nearly impossible to get insurance because you’ve been dropped – (having not experienced this first hand I have no clue, so I just nod and agree with what he said – see I can be a good wife) So I’m not that excited about switching, of course he says this AFTER the home show, AFTER I’ve wasted this poor guy’s time.

I’ll be calling tomorrow and trying to find a time that Mr. Incredible and I can meet with him. Let’s see tomorrow night is out, Thursday is scouts, so maybe next week.

I walked for an hour tonight – I’m kinda tired – BUT I did get to watch a few episodes of Grey’s Anatomy first season.. (a x-mas gift from Mr. I). I’ve decided that if I put one of the kids’ portable DVD player in front of the treadmill my neck doesn’t get as sore as when trying to watch the big TV – and as long as there is something to watch, then I’ll walk.

Today was a lazy day – The kids and Mr. Incredible took a nap – Tink never got out of her pj’s….wish I would have done that.

Mr. I’s birthday is a few days away. I ordered his present. I hope it gets here on time. With my luck, it wont.

Tonight we went out to eat. As we are sitting in the very crowded restaurant.

Hubby and I are discussing stuff we saw at the local home show – etc.

Pan says loudly: Momma, I’m never going pass “P”.

me – slightly taken aback: “What?”

Pan a little louder: I’m never going to PASS P.

The table behind us is choking on their bacon wrapped hot-dogs, the table next to us – choking on their Moo Shoo Pork.

Mr I: What are you talking about?

Pan: You know, my AM? My Math?

The tables all around us sorta breathed in a sigh of relief and continue eating.

Me: Tink, what are you doing?

Tink: Hello. Hello? Momma it’s for you.

*Puts her foot towards me*

Don’t ya wish you could do that?

I had a little rant – but after I read it – realized that you don’t want to read that. I’ll save it for another day.

Today Tink got something in the mail, and since it’s Pink – she loves it.

Pan was a little upset at first that she got something in the mail, but after he saw what it was – he was fine with it.

I have a “new-to-me-but-cheap-but-old-laptop” – it’s much faster than the old one – doesn’t take 20 minutes to start up, but it has a hard time “hearing” the signal for the wireless internet. And because of that – I’m about ready to go back to the old machine. TICK ME OFF! It has to be on my lap just so – or I lose the page, and when typing a post that gets old fast. or when trying to read blogs. I’m not sure why – and Mr. Incredible doesn’t seem to care as his internet is working just fine and he has no problems what-so-ever.

**Updated** He says that it wasn’t that he didn’t care, but that he was working on something else that required his attention at the moment. I’ll give him that, and he did fix it – moved the access point, and now – no problems. I wish I had half his knowledge when it came to this stuff. Makes me go insane when I know it should be working and it doesn’t.

Mr. Incredible’s birthday is just around the corner.

There are a few things that he wants….

1) a new in-dash sirius satellite radio receiver for his blazer. (out of my budget at the moment)

2) Need for Speed Underground #2 (which I can’t find anywhere) for the game cube

or this….

3) the Mooning Yard Gnome…. It’s in my price range, but it’s FUGLY – and he wants it…seriously he wants it. Why? I’m not sure… I don’t understand it either.

You ever have one of those days, where you know in your mind what you are looking for, but can not form into words what you are looking for? I am looking for that thing the neighbor kids have – you pack snow in it, turn it over and it makes bricks out of snow.

But instead I feel like a two year old who has no words, because I can’t figure it out….

ah…. It’s called a snow block maker – go figure – I was looking for a snow brick maker… of course, that would be silly. and they sell them …. here -But $6? Are you kidding me? It’s a plastic box. I’m getting out the rubber maid containers. Bricks can have rounded corners – at least in Gotham City.
