So how many are without power?

Three different news channels, three different numbers. That drives me nuts - but it sounds like those who are without power will have to wait 3 days to a week before their power is restored - and that is from the major power supplier. The local REC’s are working - and they are estimating the same time frame. School has been canceled for tomorrow - I was hoping that they wouldn’t do that. I don’t know if our daycare center will be open or not tomorrow.

Living in Gotham City we are lucky enough that our city can generate its’ own power if necessary, so we shouldn’t have problems, but Mr. Incredible wants a generator… and more than likely we will be buying one, although it won’t be anytime soon - as everyone is sold out, at least according to the news.

The weather sucks - can’t wait for spring, now onto other news… oh wait - there isn’t any other news…its just the weather.

We worked on the driveway today - chipped away at the ice for a few hours…made little to no progress. Wishing like mad I had 4 wheel drive - I need it to make it up our driveway.

Luckily we never lost power. I have 4-wheel drive but on ice, it doesn’t matter really!

We only ended up with about 4 inches of snow and didn’t lose power. Can’t imagine losing it for any extended period of time. Hope it warms up for you!

Bummer that people are losing power. Luckily, we just got heavy rain and a few thunderstorms down here with this last round. Heard them talking on the weather tonight about the next big storm that is already floating around out on the Pacific, heading our way soon!

You’re a better woman than I am for helping with the driveway. I simply can’t handle being out in the cold for that long. I know, I’m a wuss. I really need to move south.
