what it takes…

I hate to exercise…hate it.

But I love to talk. I can pretty much talk to anyone, about anything, for just about any length of time, and I lose track of time when I talk.

So…

Makes sense for me to pop my earpiece in my ear, call someone and walk right?

Right, or not so right? An hour passes, and I don’t even realize that I have walked that far. Tonight I probably walked 4 miles.

What do you mean it’s not common for a person to walk down the street in the dark, talking to herself? Sure those that I met on the sidewalk looked as me as it I were nuts, but I got off my duff and out of the house.

Maybe I need to get some real life friends…but that would require me meeting people our own age….nah….that so over-rated.

Hey, whatever it takes! My thing for exercise is music, and I usually sing while I exercise. After a while you get used to the staring…

Boredom is probably the biggest reason I don’t exercise. So…if talking helps you overcome that, then I say go for it.

Yup… the only thing better is when you can drag the other side of the phone conversation along on the walk WITH you!

My hope is to get a treadmill so I can exercise and watch my favorite shows. I LOVED the treadmill at the gym!

Good for you! Yep, whatever it takes. I’d have trouble with the whole walking & talking at the same time, so yay for you!!

    Ewwww! The E word.

I like to talk on the phone when I exercise. Bluetooth makes everyone who owns one look like they are crazy. LOL I don’t own one, but in a way I think they would be nice.

Nothing wrong with that - I see it all the time on the trails around here. I only hate it at the gym and I’ve forgotten my iPod and I have to listen to the conversation…

Brighton - getting started is my problem.

Blogartia - that was my thought process…

Bluepaintred - Gotham City is small…very small. Nothing scary happens here, at least not very often, unless you count the time the neighbor guy flipped out and murdered his wife, but hey that can happen anywhere - and we didn’t live here then.

bon - My sister is usually out walking when she calls me.

    TC - I have a treadmill - and I like it - it’s that I’d rather walk outside.

tug - It’ walking and chewing gum that get me - walking and talking no problems….

Lynda - I don’t have a bluetooth- it’s old fashion - has a wire that connects to the phone…I’m not cool like Mr. Fab.

Shannin - Now that would drive me nuts if I was at the gym - I’d want to just do my thing and be done.

violet - if I exercised before I went to work, I’d be getting up at O’dark-thirty… NO WAY..that’s tooo early.

Laura - do you have an inches away? That was a big thing for a while - you laid on a machine and it moved your arms and legs for you - you literally did nothing - I think they are out of business…perhaps because it didn’t work?

momyblogr - I know what you mean - thinking perhaps I may need to re-think this…as I don’t seeing Mr. Incredible driving across town to pick up my butt!
