Today, Tink wants to know “why?”
Sooooo…. who wants to play parent/wizard and answer her questions - ready, set go!
1) Why does sammy have an owie?
2) Why does it take so long to get better?
3) Why hasn’t Grandpa R come back from Heaven? Papa and G’ma came back from vacation already - when is the heaven vacation over?
4) When can I ride my bike?

Here is who I would answer these if my kids were to ask.
1) Why does sammy have an owie?
A) Because

A)Sometimes that’s just the way things are.
3) Why hasn’t Grandpa R come back from Heaven? Papa and G’ma came back from vacation already - when is the heaven vacation over?
A)Heaven isn’t a vacation dear, its our new home where we go when we die and people who go live there can’t come back but one day we can go and be with them.
4) When can I ride my bike?

They Why questions age didn’t bug me too much with Princess but Mr Man use to drive me up a way because no matter what answer I gave him he would repeat my answer and then ask why.. Like “why later” or “because Why”
With Aniston and her why stage I found if I said I don’t know go ask daddy that worked really well LOL.

1) Why does sammy have an owie? Sammy got hurt because his body got sick. its your bodies way of telling you something is wrong. So that you do something to help make it better.
2) Why does it take so long to get better? It takes a long time to get better because its hard to make things perfect. In order for Sammy to heal properly, we have to be very paitent and wait.
3) Why hasn’t Grandpa R come back from Heaven? Papa and G’ma came back from vacation already - when is the heaven vacation over? Heaven Isnt a vacation. Its where people go to watch out for the ones they love most. Grandpa R is up watching you and pan and mommy and daddy. he is even watching Sammy, and helping to make him get better.
4) When can I ride my bike? You will never be able to ride your bike again. Mother nature ran off with Old man winter and they are having a torrid love affair. She has forgotten about spring and summer. All she cares about now, is Old Man winter’s great big.. Icicle

I really hate the “why” questions. Just the other night at Souplantation, Jack asked “why” we werent’t having another baby. The woman at the next table shot me a look and just grinned! LOL

1) Sammy has a very long back. Much longer than a lot of doggies you might see. And sometimes long backs get hurt which makes an owie.
2) It takes a long time to get better because long backs take longer to heal. You should be very nice to Sammy.
3) Grandpa R isn’t on vacation in heaven. He works in heaven watching over everyone and making sure they are safe and happy, including you.
4) When it is sunny outside, and your mommy and daddy let you.
