Challenges…

Pan had conferences Tuesday.

He excels in everything, and is doing great.

So the problem?

The teacher told me - Pan is the teachers biggest challenge. Because Pan is BORED in class… THEN CHALLENGE HIM… DU

Tink’s conferences were today. She is the “mother of the class” - she worries when a classmate isn’t there, helps if they need their coat zipped, etc.

I signed permission slips for a speech therapist to evaluate her speech as she is having problems with certain letters - ‘th’, ‘fr’, ‘y’ (yellow) etc. If there is something that I can do at home we will, or if she needs to see the speech therapist a few times a week - that will be okay with us as well - might as well fix this before she is older and kids make fun of her.

Kids can be mean…. (I know, it’s not a newsflash…)

Sidenote: I’m working out a few things, so if I seem to be all over the place with my posts, just bear with me… I’ll get it sorted out - and then blogging should return to the normal boring stuff) No one is dying (that I know of), my job (knock on wood) should be safe, and the kids are fine, Mr. Incredible is fine. Life is just happening… and I don’t have enough hours in my day….

We had conferences this week too. Amazing that thre is such a turn around from last year with the man child. He didn’t change - his teacher did! And that - (in the words of Martha) is a good thing!

Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

If you find that hour store please let me know where it is.
When my daughter taught she had the same problem, but her time was filled with handling the bad kids, and the ones that shouldn’t have been there, she had no time for the good ones. It’s No Child Left Behind, except that the better ones get pulled back down or ignored.

Couldn’t believe it when I went to my grandmothers funeral yesterday - there was a MINI TINK!!!!!!

It’s my cousins daughter and OMG I couldn’t look at her without calling her ‘Tink’ in my head - she looked just like your Tink. She is just turning 3 and she is a ‘young’ three at that. So … just a tiny Tink. Cute!

Glad the kids did well in their conferences.

I understand about the blogging thing too.. we are in the very same position at the moment too… Some things I just can’t/don’t want to blog about but I’m trying to get back into the swing of things too :)
Good luck with whatever it is that’s troubling you.
