BLAH

What’s wrong with me? I’ll tell you what my problem is -

I think I want to move…I seriously want to pack up and move. I could - I’d be ready by next weekend.

I just need some boxes, and about three u-hauls, and not have the kids….

oh, and I’d need a new job for myself and Mr. Incredible with the same pay/benefits or better.

and our new house has to be bigger than this one, but the house payment can’t go up.

and I want it on a beach.

and I want it to not have carpeting.

and I want it to have a big backyard, where the kids can run and play.

and I want to only work for three days and have a four day weekend.

Oh the heck with it - right now I’d settle for sun, and to see the snow melt away… I’ve got the winter “blahs” so bad right now… Spring is just around the corner… I keep telling myself that.

The darn weatherman says - “..and for Monday there is a 90% chance of rain turning to freezing rain and then to snow, accumulating up to 6 more inches of the snow starting at 9:00 AM and leaving the area at NOON on Tuesday….and another system will move in on Thursday…” Someone shoot me now. Blam-o-zone be damned..

Can you fit me in your Uhaul too?

I don’t get it about not wanting carpeting? I can’t wait until we can afford new carpeting. It’ll go everywhere except the kitchen/dining area.

I’m with you on the winter blahs, though.

Two Princess Girls - sure why not.

Blogarita - It’s because of the dog and allergies, and I love the look of hardwood floors.

Mel - normally I don’t get this bad, but I just really really really want to see the sun, and something green - anything…

I think we might be on a similar page. I’m not sure mine is the cabin fever thing. But, I am definitely blah and I would leave behind my life in a minute if I could keep all my loved ones with me.

Well, you know, Texas or Florida or Mississippi (look, I can spell it!) would be more than willing to take you. There are probably lots of fix them up houses with no carpets in New Orleans still.

Yup… winter is still in full force. I’d be going nuts if I still had kids at home. I mean, a day or two now or then is okay but days on end when it is too yucky to even go outside…? Not so good. I feel for ya.

We’ve had a fairly mild winter this year, & I’m STILL ready for it to be over! Hang in there…if I find my beach house, I’ll let you know so we can be neighbors!

I am coming out of lurk-dom to say ditto on all of that. Even though I live in the South already, the beach would be so awesome. I have told the husband this many times. We could have the whole house packed in a week!
We always make up our snow days right after they are missed, if it falls on a Saturday…so be it. Those are the best ones because they are only half days. Our kids also get out on June 10th, but don’t return until the last week of August.
Check out my blog for something sunny!
