The last week when we were in the lower 70’s during the day - and it was sunny, Tink had climbed into the recliner with Mr. Incredible and the weather guy said to expect some snow showers this past Sunday.
Tink says: I went to sleep, and I missed summer? It’s winter?
Oh, can you imagine? Missing summer after the winter we’ve had? I’d have to be committed.
We didn’t get the snow as predicted, it went north.
Note to whoever is in charge of the weather - I have covered my hostas, and the other plants that I could due to the freeze warning that we are under, I’m hoping that they will survive. We could use some nice warm, windy days to dry up the land around here. While the river has started to recede, it has a few more feet to go until it is normal and even then, we don’t need any rain for a while, a long while.

We had the HUGEST (and yes, that’s the only word I can think of to accurately describe them) snowflakes in the history of the world here this afternoon. It has sent me into a hugely enormous funk.

Tink is too cute!! Our weatherlady said tonight that in our immediate forcast there are 80 degree temps, and snow.

Oh, that is so cute! We had highs in the nineties Saturday during the baseball games. I wore flip flops and got sun poisoning on the tops of my feet. Sending you some sunshine.

Yes, us too - 91 yesterdfay and today, but some clouds in the sky. We haven’t had rain in quite a while, it’s 80 right now (at 8 in the morning). Our precipitation this month 0.0, so far this year is somewhere around 1.2 inches or so. So yes, please, have some of our sun and dry, send your water here, the lake is low.

I’m so ready for spring to get here. And I wouldn’t worry about the hastas. I have a ton of them and have never lost them due to frost. Better safe than sorry though right?
