no title…

I’m not dead, i just have nothing to say.  Well, that’s not true.  I have a lot to say, it’s just not blog worthy.

I am in a bind at the moment, I’m sure I’ll figure something out when the date comes.

I found out that I work for a great company for my second job.

I already knew that I work for a not so great company for my main job.

I’m going to finally have surgery.  I say finally because I probably should have done that instead of the ablation back in September.  I’m too young to be this miserable.  She said probably 6 week recovery time.  I’m hoping for less.  Is it odd that I’m actually looking forward to this?  I just want to be done.

I ‘ve got a kid that is coughing, and hacking…is it just the weather changing, or is she sick…. hoping for weather.

The new doors are in, and I like the way they look, I just wished they locked and closed.  (Yes, you read that right - the company is going to fix it… I’m waiting and seeing.)

Talked to a friend tonight who is planning her daughter’s wedding.  Actually she is just writing the checks to fund the daughter’s wedding.  The daughter is going with the less is more theory, but sometimes her less cost a lot more.  I think I’m going to encourage Tink to elope.

I understand about wanting the surgery, I hope it works and you heal quickly. My husband’s father offered us 200 dollars if we would elope, lol. We got married outside and spent less than $700 on everything. Our rehearsal diner was a gift from a friend, as was the week long honeymoon. THAT is the way to go!

One of the nicest weddings I’ve been to was out in a park over the ocean in California. The city charges $25 for use of the park, and there was a wedding every half hour that Spring, so all the previous ceremonies had filled the place with flowers.
I offered to pay for my daughter’s wedding, as long as there was an Elvis involved. She skipped Vegas (even though she was living here) and did a tall ships cruise wedding in the Caribbean. Most expensive thing she could have done.
So yes, pay for a Vegas wedding and a few days in a nice hotel.

Good luck with the surgery. I totally understand the feeling of anticipation. It’s called “looking forward to no more pain/hassle/disruption of routine”. I hope everything goes well.

Thanks for the support on the baby issue! I feel pretty good about where we are, it’s this problem I have with occasionally wanting everything RIGHT NOW and then knowing better.

Hope your kiddo starts feeling better and that it’s just the weather!

Hope no one’s sick… so are you thinking about just going with job#2? How did I miss job#2? Did I totally miss something?
