A tree

Today we went tree shopping.  Wanting something to replace the tree we cut down last year.  And we found another flowering crabapple.  It’s supposed to get close to 20 ft tall - and should be perfect for our yard.  We have to call “one-call’ before we can plant it - they have to make the lines in the yard.

A tree for mother’s day is perfect - one of the best gifts I have ever received.  I can’t wait to watch it grow, and change with the seasons.  (just like our kids)  Tree’s relax me, they remind me how precious life is, and that no matter how hard the wind blows, if  you can ride out the storm, you will be stronger for it.  Lately my life (work) has been a bit stormy, and I’m doing my best to ride it out.  I will survive, and I will be better for it.  I just need to make sure my roots are deep and strong.

Thank you Mr. Incredible, for making today wonderful - love you!

ooh, I need to go tree shopping… is that photo the actual tree you purchased? I wonder, if its not rude, how much you paid for it? Maybe I’ll earmark some of my stimulus check for one.

Oh! I got a parkland apple tree a week ago. I love it so! It was to replace one that the neighbor kids murdered!

Its 5.6 right now, and three years old, so it can start bearing fruit this season or next! AND, costco had it on sale for 29$

Shelia – the one pictured is one that is already here in our side yard. The one we purchased kinds a looks like a thick stick with a few branches at the top, it hasn’t bloomed yet. We spent $140, from a family owned nursery, which has a very good rep for standing behind what they sell.

Blue – sounds like a great deal to me! Love fresh apples – Mr. Incredible hates apple trees because the fruit falls, and makes a mess in the mower.

Shoshana – I’d love a rose bush, I’m just afraid that I’d kill it. Yes, I have the thumb of death.

Meegan – It will be Wed or later, have to wait for the utilities to come and mark their lines, so we don’t dig up anything that we shouldn’t.

Blogarita – especially after a winter like we just had - spring is the best!

Shelli – He is – I got lucky.

    Beth – Thank you.

    Shannon – Thank you!
