Today my little girl, my baby, graduated from pre-school, I know in my head that this is what is supposed to happen. She is more than ready for Kindergarten. My heart is just having a little - ‘not yet’ moment. One minute I’m okay with it, the next, I’m trying so hard not to cry!
I just hope that some of her bestest friends will be in her class, otherwise it might be a long year. She is so worried that her “boy-friends” will forget about her, she loves J, Z, and B. We have play dates set up with J, and Z. According to her - she is going to marry one of them, they just don’t want to leave their mommies yet. Silly boys. But they do watch out for her - and include her in their play - some days she would rather hang out with the boys - they like to get dirty, and she has convinced some of the girls, that it’s okay to get dirty too! Sand is meant to be played in!!! The group of six little girls, that are so tight knit, will be interesting to see how they are divided up, or if they will let some of them be together in the fall. Such cuties - all of them!

Congrats to Tink!
Sparky wasn’t in pre-school to graduate, but she had her last full week of daycare last week. Now she will go part-time until Kindergarten starts.
Her best friend at daycare is Alexander. He’ll be going into Kindergarten, too, but no chance they be in the same class. We have five elementary schools; he’ll be going to one of the others.
By the time the schools converge in 5th grade, they’ll probably have forgotten one another.

Wow. Instant flashback to Kat standing in our living room in her little dress and graduation cap when she graduated from preschool. I know it’s been said a million times but I cannot stress how FAST time goes by. Next year Kat graduates from high school and the mere thought almost takes my breath away.

She is such a DOLL - many congrats to Tink!! It’s weird to see the friends change through the years… K is so different from so many of the friends she grew up with, and has lost touch with so many of them.
Enjoy every minute - yes, they go too fast.
