Most of our news is happy, boring, and we only watch to see what the weather is going to be, and the sports, when my younger brother played High School sports to see if he made it “on-air”.
Tonight must have been a slow news night.
The top alcoholic beverages sold in our state are as follows:
1. Black Velvet
2. Captain Morgan
3. Hawkeye Vodka
4. Five O’clock Vodka and
5. Jack Daniels-black label.
What? No strawberry schnapps? (my drink of choice – strawberry strippers!)
Where’s the grey goose, the tequilla, the good stuff?
But it makes sense – my grandpa (my Dad’s Dad), his favorite drink, is BV on ice, @ 8:00 AM.
And you might think I’m kidding – but sadly, I’m not, he follows that – “It’s 5 o’clock somehwere” logic)

yeah, i saw that last night too and thought it was ridiculous! I guess its better than news of teenage deaths, assaulted cops, etc.
