On the wall of my kids daycare center is this quote:

Just 19 little words. Powerful words.
The teachers in the school-age room make the kids read this quote out loud every day.
The kids know it. They know what it means…
The question is: How do we get the adults that run the world to realize this?
If all the adults in the world, had to follow the rules that we expect our kids to follow…wouldn’t it be a better place?

It would, indeed.

It would make a HUGE difference. Hopefully, these kids will follow right and not wrong when they’re our age. And then all will be better with their generation. At least.

CMG – I hope that they will continue to follow the right and not wrong, it’s so hard to be a parent in this world, knowing that the real world is not as perfect as we would like it to be for them…. and the kindness they see in this small town is not everywhere. perhaps they will be able to take that with them, as well.

Sybil Law – Just think – people following through on promises… oh what a difference.

Jody – I should email that to my senators and representatives… just to remind them of where they come from and who they are representing… like to it would be “right” to know what they are voting on, and to READ THE BILL before they signed it…..

Army of Mom – Exactly.

I LOVE this quote. LOVE IT! I thanked you on my blog for sharing it and thank you again here for sharing it.
I agree that it would be great if the adults of the world would embrace it
